Simona- Club Coach

Born and raised in Prague, the Czech Replubic, Simona began playing Tennis at the age of 8. At the age of 10 she began playing tournaments and by 17 had progressed to be one of the top 15 players in Czechoslovakia. A back injury at the age of 19 caused Simona to stop competitive tennis so she embarked on a coaching career. In 1998, Simona moved to Australia to study English, married and continued her coaching career. Simona has represented Australia in the 45s ITF World Seniors Tennis Teams event, winning the Australian 45+ singles title in 2019 and the 50+ Australian Mixed Doubles title in 2020. Simona continues to play and compete at the highest level in Seniors Tennis in Australia and brings with her 35 years of coaching experience. Simona enjoys coaching all age levels, from beginner to advanced, creating a fun and enjoyable learning experience for her students.
